As a landscape lover living in urban Dallas, I sometimes yearn for the landscapes I see when I’m traveling. There’s not much natural scenery to capture here. The exception is the Dallas Arboretum, where trees and plants are carefully tended so we can all connect with nature. This shot from the Women’s Garden section had everything I was looking for: natural scenery, an architectural element with strong right angles, and a backdrop that makes you forget where you are.
